What is a patch panel?
With a patch panel it is very easy to organize your network. A patch panel is certainly not only for extensive networks such as at an office, for example, a patch panel also has an added value at home. In the event of a defect, you can easily replace your patch cable, much cheaper than turning your entire network upside down! You can number your patch panel, so you know exactly what the cable is or is going for.
If you want to install a cable on the LSA strips on your patch panel, make sure to use a rigid core cable. Cables with a flexible core are not suitable for this and will therefore not work. You can of course use flexible patch cables at the front of the patch panel, as long as you use a stiff cable for installation on the LSA strips. After installation at the 'back' of the patch panel, you have provided the port on the front with an internet connection.
