This CAT5e keystone coupler is unshielded and suitable for connecting 2 RJ45 patch cables. The connector has a snap-in function, making it suitable for mounting in for example a keystone patchpanel or keystone wall socket. Thanks to the small design, 24 pieces easily fit next to each other in a 24 port keystone patchpanel. The coupler is suitable for networks up to 1Gbit with a bandwidth of 100MHz if CAT5e patch cables are used.

What is a keystone?

A keystone is a loose connection that can be placed in empty patch panels or wall sockets. Keystones are very popular because you can assemble your patch panels or wall sockets exactly as you wish. Mounting a cable on a keystone is very easy by means of LSA strips. Mounting on an LSA strip does require LSA pliers, also available at Netwerkkabel.eu.
